Abstract:
In this paper, we investigate the delay and Doppler shift estimation for the target by considering the resource mapping of the pilot in sixth generation (6G) integrated communication and sensing networks (ISAC). We first model the physical resource mapping of the sensing signals based on 3GPP release. Then a rotational invariance based method is proposed to estimate the delay and the distance of the target. By interchanging the symbol and the subcarrier with each other, the same method is applied to estimate the Doppler shift and the velocity. Finally, a link level simulation is presented to show the performance of the proposed method.
