Abstract:
This letter presents a patch antenna that is designed for ultrahigh frequency (UHF) band radio frequency identification (RFID) tags. This antenna consists of a shorted radiating element and a double T-matching network. The v-shape patch is used as the radiating element, and it is patched on a double substrate. Otherwise, using a T-match network makes it have a good match with RFID chip. A short pin was used to reduce the size of the antenna. Simulation of the proposed RFID tag antenna is also presented in this letter.
