Abstract
Let a differential system A 1 y′ + A 0 y = 0 be of full rank and the matrix A 1 be possibly singular. Let a part of unknowns (components of a vector y) be selected. For this case, an algorithm is proposed that yields a system of the form ỹ′ for some part ỹ of components of the vector y, with the selected entries of y that do not belong to ỹ being linearly expressed via the selected entries that are in ỹ.
