ABSTRACT
The operation of electrical transmission substations is a field of potential development of systems focused on process optimization. This has motivated the design and implementation of a training system for the electrical substations operators using knowledge based ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) systems to offer tools that identify skillful actions and abilities required. This document offers a contribution to new training process alternatives supported in simulation techniques and Artificial Intelligence to encourage the active, meaningful and assisted learning, the self assessment and the acquisition of abilities for the electrical transmission substation operation.
