ABSTRACT
This paper seeks to describe the knowledge and perceptions of robots that have a group of 19 children under 11 years old in Mexico City has, interacting with a teleoperated anthropomorphic robot compared with a group of 18 children with the same characteristics that have not interacted with same robot. We seek to focus a precedent in the Mexican children in their context for future development of social robots.

HRI '12: Proceedings of the seventh annual ACM/IEEE international conference on Human-Robot InteractionThis paper seeks to establish a precedent for future development and design of social robots by considering the knowledge and expectations about robots of a group of 296 children. Human-robot interaction experiments were conducted with a Tele-operated ...
Developing therapeutic robot for children with autism: a study on exploring colour feedback
HRI '13: Proceedings of the 8th ACM/IEEE international conference on Human-robot interactionPrevious studies have reported that autistic children improved the social interaction and communication skills through interacting with robots. Most studies in the field of robot-assisted autism therapy, however, have focused on limited communication ...
Effect of Different Adaptations by a Robot on Children's Long-term Engagement: An Exploratory Study
ACE '16: Proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Advances in Computer Entertainment TechnologyOne of the known challenges in Children Robot Interaction (cHRI) is to sustain children's engagement for long-term interactions with robots. Researchers have hypothesised that robots that can adapt to children's affective states, and can also learn from ...
