ABSTRACT
We present an automated visualization system, called Style Avatar, which checks the coding style of source codes and visualizes the coding style score using facial expression. Our system shows the facial expressions of an artificial character, say an avatar, according to the coding style score of the source code. According to the experimental results, the style-violation ratio of student programs when the students are taught using the Style Avatar was reduced above 30% than that without it.

Style-based exploration of illustration datasets
Searching by style in illustration data sets is a particular problem in Information Retrieval which has received little attention so far. One of its main problems is that the perception of style is highly subjective, which makes labeling styles a very ...
Some combinatorial constructions for optimal perfect deletion-correcting codes
There are two kinds of perfect t -deletion-correcting codes of length k over an alphabet of size v , those where the coordinates may be equal and those where all coordinates must be different. We call these two kinds of codes T *( k t , k , v )...
A classification of 20-trinucleotide circular codes
Trinucleotide comma-free codes and trinucleotide circular codes are two important classes of codes in code theory and theoretical biology. A trinucleotide circular code containing exactly 20 elements is called here a 20-trinucleotide circular code. In ...
