Abstract
Ken Anderson is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a fellow of CU's ATLAS Institute and the co-director of Project EPIC (http://epic.cs.colorado.edu), where he helped to design a large-scale data collection infrastructure for collecting tweets generated during times of mass emergency. Prof. Anderson's research interests include software and web engineering, software architecture, hypermedia, and crisis informatics. He is currently leading the creation of a research center at CU that will investigate topics related to the generation, collection, storage, and analysis of large data sets.
