ABSTRACT
We are demonstrating a novel design of a live lightfield camera capturing a scene and showing the captured lightfield in realtime in a lightfield display. The simple, distributed design of the camera allows for low-cost construction of an array of 2D cameras that captures high quality, artifact-free imagery of the most challenging of subjects. This camera takes advantage of the natural duality of outside-in lightfield cameras with inside-out lightfield displays, letting us render complex lightfield imagery with a minimum of processing power.

3D Displays without Glasses: Coming to a Screen near You
The most common 3D displays require users to wear special glasses, which has limited the technology's popularity. Now, researchers and vendors are working on glasses-free 3D displays.
Calibration of Panoramic Catadioptric Sensors Made Easier
OMNIVIS '02: Proceedings of the Third Workshop on Omnidirectional VisionWe present a new method to calibrate panoramic catadioptric sensors. Whilemany methods exist for planar cameras, it is not the case for panoramiccatadioptric sensors. The aim of the proposed calibration is not to estimatethe mirror surface parameters ...
Single view geometry and active camera networks made easy
MiFor '09: Proceedings of the First ACM workshop on Multimedia in forensicsActive camera networks have an important role in surveillance systems for forensic analysis. They have the ability to direct the attention to interesting events that occur in the scene. In order to achieve such behavior the cameras in the network use a ...
