Research on English Teaching Based on Multimedia-assisted Teaching

ABSTRACT

The multimedia-assisted college English teaching model is student-centered and effectively integrates traditional classroom teaching and network resources. It not only gives full play to the guiding role of teachers, but also greatly stimulates students’ subjective initiative and improves students’ English, especially listening and speaking ability has been significantly improved, which has significantly improved the teaching effect of college English. This article briefly introduces the important position of multimedia computer-assisted language teaching in the current English teaching reform from the perspective of constructivism, and conducts a preliminary discussion on the necessity and enlightenment of this teaching mode in English teaching, hoping that the multimedia teaching environment can be more effective It promotes the improvement of students' English communicative ability, so that students become autonomous learners and lifelong learners.
