ABSTRACT
5G and beyond communication networks aim to mitigate global connectivity challenges in an efficient manner. The task is severely challenging for developing countries due to complex network architecture, costly deployments, high maintenance chargers, etc. Virtualized Software-Defined Networking (vSDN) plays a pivotal role by providing advanced technological solutions to achieve the target. Following the growth of modern communication networks, in this work, we have proposed a holistic infrastructure deployment framework over a real network topology (Indian ERNET topology). We proposed an OpenSearch approach (The first ever of its kind) which can transform the existing 4G-LTE models to vSDN-driven 5G&B ready. The model supports URLLC, high QoS, and low-cost deployment. The notion of the work supports the vision of ’connecting the unconnected world.’
