ABSTRACT
Chew [3] analyzed the pathology of concrete in wet areas of the building using visual inspection of photographs as one of his methods of evaluation. In his work, defects were attributed to construction deficiencies (43%), material (37%), design (11%) and maintenance (9%). The author found that material is crucial to the durability of concrete.
