ABSTRACT

Quantum information processing, communication, and security in general, and quantum computing in particular, have attracted large and growing attention of the academic community, and also outside of it, over the last two decades [1,2]. Since, the field can be seen as being a merge of arguably two of the most important areas of science and technology of the twentieth century, quantum physics and modern information processing and computing, it is expected to play a very important role in this century with broad implications.
