Abstract

Verizon has successfully initiated and deployed an innovative drop cable solution for the installation of FTTh services in existing, residential Multi-Dwelling-Unit applications. The new In-Unit cable consists of 0.9mm drop with G.657.B3 fiber and a field spliceable, mechanical connector.
