Abstract: The production scheduling optimisation of ready-mixed concrete (RMC) is one of the key issues of engineering construction progress and cost control. There have been many researches on production scheduling optimisation of RMC. However, most of these studies ignore the impact of construction scenarios on the RMC scheduling problem. And most solutions are difficult to obtain satisfactory scheduling schemes because of high dimensional and multi-constraint of problem. In our study, we modelled RMC scheduling optimisation in road construction scenarios. And a memetic algorithm optimisation framework is introduced. In the framework, a multi-point stochastic feasible crossover strategy and a bidirectional collaborative local optimisation were designed based on the problem domain information to improve the global optimisation and restraint processing capabilities of the algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed method can obtain a better production scheduling scheme than the other four algorithms.
