Abstract:
A method for smoothly and gracefully transiting between orbits for two realizations of a dynamic system specified by different parameter values is justified. The idea is to slowly change the parameter in a well-defined fashion, thus embedding the otherwise autonomous system in a driven one. This also solves a tracking problem for limit cycles as function of a parameter.
