Abstract:
We consider nonlinear control systems with encoded feedback over delayed data-rate-limited communication channels. It is assumed that a smooth static state feedback exists, which renders the closed loop system ISS with respect to measurement noise, if there is no delay nor any data rate restriction. For this case we present an encoder/decoder scheme for which it can be shown that semi-global asymptotic stability is achieved despite the presence of delay and packet loss.
