Abstract:
The problem of finding static output-feedback controllers that achieve prescribed closed-loop specifications is solved in the H∞-norm setting. A set of such controllers is obtained that achieves a prescribed bound on the H∞-norm of time-invariant linear systems. This bound determines the stability margins of the resulting closed-loop system and the parametrization of these controllers can then be used to satisfy additional closed-loop specifications. An example of unmanned air vehicle control is given which demonstrates the use of the theory developed.
