Abstract:
The rapid growth of Wireless Sensor Networks and embedded devices as well as their implementation in the context of Smart Homes opens up many possibilities for development of new solutions. However, finding a quality, energy-efficient solution can be a very challenging task. In this paper, the proposed model of an energy efficient ZigBee Body Area Network is presented and tested through various simulations to explore and evaluate its performance in the context of IoT-Based Smart Homes with the goal of providing quality solutions in the fields of both BAN and eHealth.
