Abstract:

Frequency chirping dynamics of single-arm-driven and one-bit-encoded Si Mach-Zender interferometric modulator is analyzed with chirped-frequency-variation related Δ v(τ)/α ratio varying from 3×10-2 to 4.57×10-2 when reverse biasing the p-n junction from 2.1 to 3.4 V.
