Abstract:
We demonstrate reconfigurable tanh- and ReLU-like nonlinear activation functions for incoherent neuromorphic photonics using a balanced photodiode assembled with a programmable electronic TIA chip. Experimental results up to 10 Gb/s line-rates are presented.
