Abstract:

A learned perturbation-aided advanced digital backpropagation (LP-ADBP) with nonlinear compensation fusion is proposed for subcarrier-multiplexing systems. 1-Step and 5-Step LP-ADBP provide similar performance as 5-Step and 10-Step ADBP but save ~73.3% and ~44.5% complexity, respectively.
