Abstract:

We present a polymer-based WFE on a low-loss (0.55dB/cm at 1550nm) platform featuring >19dB improvement in radiated power from the InP-based counterpart. This value exceeds the InP/Polymer transition losses advancing the practicality of hybrid schemes.
