Abstract:

Shielded fabrics are fabrics with conductive properties which are used for attenuating electromagnetic fields. One of the manufacturing methods for shielded fabrics is interweaving common textiles with metal threads, thus giving the fabric conductive properties. This paper examines the required density of metal threads interwoven in a fabric to achieve the desired properties.
