Abstract:

Robust adaptive controller designs are proposed for multivariable nonlinear systems with structured and unstructured uncertainties in spite of unwanted external disturbances and bounded inputs. The proposed robust adaptive controller design guarantees the zero dynamic error in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances. Upper bounds for initial conditions of the system, and controller parameters are derived in order to guarantee the stability of the system with input constraints. The proposed adaptive controller design is generalized to a larger class of nonlinear systems than currently available in the literature. Finally, these results are applied to a simulation study to demonstrate their utilities.
