Enabling High Throughput Data Analysis for Light-Sheet Imaging

thesis
posted on 2023-01-27, 06:26 authored by ABHISHEK JAGDISH PATIL
This thesis focuses on accelerating the process of data acquisition to quantitative analysis by at least 10 fold for lattice light-sheet microscopy that resulting in very large-sized data containing complex phenomenologies that require sophisticated analysis. The various steps of preprocessing, segmentation and analysis are integrated into a single workflow with intuitive user interfaces on both open source Napari and Virtual Reality. This allows researchers to perform all steps of LLSM experiments - acquisition to analysis, without requiring any specialist skills. The implementation of the described workflow is expected to accelerate biological discovery with LLSM by overcoming the current bottlenecks in post-processing.
