Hybrid observer for the multicellular converter*

Abstract

This paper addresses the estimation of the capacitor voltages for the multicellular converter. This system belongs to a class of switched linear systems having modes in which the state is not fully observable. A hybrid observer, based on gathering partial information from individual modes, is designed to solve the state estimation of the converter. Some simulations highlight the efficiency of the proposed observer.
