The term B2(B2B) is used by the authors to characterize the seamless integration of business services, offered by logistic and financial service providers, into existing, already IT-supported, manufacturing B2B networks. The European project FLUID-WIN has developed methods, procedures and a platform to support such business-to-network relationships. The paper shortly presents the FLUID-WIN platform itself and the significant potentials for the service providers as well as for all companies involved in the B2B network. The evaluation of the FLUID-WIN outcomes by the end users is an essential step to guarantee the quality and usability. For that purpose both the software and also the business processes influenced by the FLUID-WIN platform are evaluated. Anyway, especially the workflow oriented B2(B2B)-approach and its cross-enterprise dimension induces some specifics. The description of the challenges and experiences of the evaluation shell give an impression of that ambitious task.
