Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a kind of communication technology using radio signal to identify specific targets and exchange data. With wide reading range and rapid identification speed, it is not necessary for the RFID reader to establish mechanical or optical contact very close to the tag. As a matter of fact, RFID tag is proved to be very potential and useful in many applications and assumed to replace the barcodes completely. In this paper, we give a comparative survey on RFID grouping authentication protocols and compare them in terms of different factors. Finally, the comparison results are presented.
