Abstract:
Recently, various information technologies such as VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) are being used for visualizing construction information. Specially, BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a representative tool for IT application in construction industry. Generally, BIM uses VR and nD CAD system to visualize construction schedule data. This study develops a methodology and system to apply BIM functions using 4D CAD simulation technique for risk analysis and schedule progress monitoring in the construction industry.
