1.8 Conclusion
We conclude that a grid is not defined by its hardware, software,or infrastructure; rather, it is a semantically different way of resource usage across ownership domains. The intent of this paper is to reveal the semantics of virtualization and evolve a definition for clearly distinguishing between systems, to determine whether or not they provide grid functionalities.
