Abstract

We conducted two experiments with the One-Armed Bandit, one at the VFW lodge at Salisbury, MD. and another at the Taj Mahal Casino and Hotel, at Atlantic City. We trained a backpropagation Neural Network using the patterns of hundreds of successive pulls as input. We show that is is possible to predict, by a trained Network, the pattern of the ensuing combination.
