Abstract
The XML Key Management Specification (XKMS) is a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Candidate Recommendation. Current work on XKMS aims to demonstrate interoperability in order to progress the specification along the W3C standards track. This paper describes the state of that work and discusses some of the issues which have arisen during the course of the work.
