Abstract

The project that will be described in this paper focussed on three topics:

  1. (a)

    the extent to which the computer may be used to facilitate the adaptation of the learning process to the individual differences found between pupils;

  2. (b)

    the impact of the computer on the learning environment as an enrichment, especially because of the opportunities it can provide for problem solving behaviour;

  3. (c)

    the possibilities of the computer for training cognitive skills in the classroom situation.
