Abstract

A new high-performance object-oriented architecture is proposed. The main features are: (i) Vectors, buffers, stacks and program loops are basic object types implemented in hardware; (ii) control flow on machine level is procedural but GOTO-less and event-driven (with priority over procedural control); (iii) the machine does not use registers, there is no allocation of processes to the processor; (iv) the machine offers exceptional high speed in running procedural and applicative higher level laguages; (v) most semantic software errors and all one bit hardware faults are detected at run time.
