Multi Objective Pinch Analysis (MOPA) Using PROMETHEE to Evaluate Resource Efficiency

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Operations Research Proceedings ((ORP,volume 2005))

Summary

Process optimisation on the basis of detailed process characteristics requires the simultaneous consideration of different mass and energy flows and leads to a multi-criteria problem. Different technological options can be compared based on targets calculated by pinch analyses and further criteria. The approach is applied to a case study on bicycle coating.
