Abstract
A year has passed since the full V1.1 CMMI Product Suite was released. How is it being employed in government and industry to better integrate the development and sustainment of software-intensive systems? Are appraisals being conducted? Are there uses of the CMMI Product Suite that we didn’t anticipate? We will summarize current deployment experiences to aid organizations both considering implementation and engaged in initial use of the integrated model. Both current and planned product evolution will be highlighted, so that attendees know where the CMMI effort is going, how they can use the Product Suite, and how the community can participate in the further improvement.
