Abstract

In recent years, the researches about the learning environment using Web are increasing. In addition, in a classroom, some teachers prepare a Web based teaching materials on Web, and introduce them into their lesson. Moreover, since many of Web contents are exhibited on the Internet, some teachers use the contents as their teaching materials. However, a teacher may not aware existence the teaching-materials resource suitable for his needs. On the other hand, a student is often unable to look for suitable Web resource, either. We focusing on the features of Web that is easy information exchange in the distributed environment. We developed a digital resource library that supports to share of Web teaching materials using author’s quotation. In this paper, we consider the use form of Web teaching materials from the viewpoint of a teacher and a student. Then we describe the outline of our approach and prototype system.
