Abstract
Aiming at promoting both a mass customized production, and higher motivations of human operators, we have conducted an analysis, and a simulation on the Printed Wireling Board (PWB) assembly line. Furthermore, we have developed a simulation model to realize our aim of the research in actual manufacturing fields.
Our simulation models contains “action-owners,” such as human operators, machines, robots, and so forth, and also “unit-processes” composed of one or more actions and independent from any specific action-owners. A real-time scheduling system employed such kind of models can visualize dynamic exchanges of action-owners between processes aligned with situation changes, and consequently contribute to realize a mass customized production in a human-machine cooperative manufacturing environment.
