Abstract
The Risk Advisor (RAD) is a decision support expert system which supports Sales and Project Managers involved in the pre-sales activities of large customer projects. The system gives advice on financial, organisational, contractual and management aspects of the project. The user responds to questions, and the system creates a report which is used in the decision-making process. This paper describes the system, and the development method, and concludes that there are many areas in the business domain where this type of advisory system would be useful.
