Abstract

This paper presents a tool for developing intelligent tutoring systems. The tool which was built upon a combined model of functional and logic programming overcomes some drawbacks of conventional domain-dependent intelligent tutoring systems. We describe some main components of the tool, especially, the student modeler which models student's knowledge both in declarative and procedural aspects. A tutor implemented within the tool is also introduced.
