Abstract
Aknowledge acquisition system is proposed to develop of inorganic chemical expert systems. The acquisition system is compose by a series of subsystems devoted specific tasks. A subsystem named Formulator carried out the acquisition of semantic knowledge through nomenclature of inorganic substance and to build a abstract data structure, named DIMS (Dynamic Internal representation of Molecular Structure), which represent all kind of knowledge corresponding inorganic substance. Others subsystem (Painter, Calculator, Nomenclator, Reactor, etc.) operates with this structure to obtain a new knowledge (physical-chemical properties, topological properties, reactions characteristic, etc.) to permits the develop of expert system in chemical inorganic area.
