Abstract
A study has been undertaken by Steria, Aerospatiale, Rational and TNI under a contract with ESA 1 to improve the way HOOD and Ada can cooperate. This paper outlines the rationale for the study, the way it was performed, and its results. The conclusion is that a revised HOOD/Ada mapping, together with some simple guidelines for the users as well as minor extensions to software tools can vastly improve the cooperation between HOOD and Ada tools.
