Abstract
The weakness of an application often has its roots in the analysis phase. This is why current software engineering conctentrates on apporpriate systems analysis methods and tools and tries to get away from code programming by code generation out of an abstract model. This paper describes a graphically oriented object-oriented analysis tool with the possibility to describe the structure part and the behavior part of an application. A class schema in the object-oriented database system GemStone can be generated from the structure part.
