Abstract

This paper introduces design principles, architecture and use of a multiform editor for Conceptual Graphs called CGeditor. Multiform means simultaneous and consistent editing of the linear form and its graphical correspondence. We discuss problems of formatting graphs and propose a formatting algorithm. Implementation details of the multiform editor for Conceptual Graphs and its integration of type hierarchies are presented.
