Abstract

Due to the increasing demands on modern manufacturing processes, traditional process and optimization systems are reaching their limits and reveal serious shortcomings. Intelligent technologies like fuzzy logic and neural networks can help to increase the economical viability of manufacturing. This article therefore presents an application in the field of electro-discharge machining (EDM).
