Abstract

This report describes the design and implementation of a syntax-compatible version of the PVM parallel processing tool for the RHODOS distributed operating system. The design of the tool for RHODOS is presented with a discussion of issues raised by both the implementation of the Unix version of PVM and the introduction of a distributed operating system.
