Definition
Knowledge-based multimedia adaptation decision-taking is referred to as the process of automated construction of a suitable sequence of adaptation operations for a given multimedia resource and a set of environmental requirements based on semantic annotations.
Problem Description
In the context of personal delivery of multimedia content over the Internet, one of the main challenges lies in the fact that the provision of an end-user multimedia service has to be done in a heterogeneous and constantly evolving environment.
