Abstract
The case chapters in Part 2 of the book each present explicit guidelines and recommendations for implementation of different collaboration technologies. These guidelines constitute important takeaways for any reader about to be or already engaged in similar projects. Chapter 11 presented a comparative analysis of the cases, discussing key issues identified from these projects and previous research. This final chapter presents a set of practical guidelines that synthesise the lessons learned from these case studies and from previous field based research covered in Chapter 3. These guidelines address organisational, project-related and technology-related aspects of implementation.
