Abstract

The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has created a set of guidelines to make the Internet accessible to everybody. The principle of “User Interfaces for All” has been proposed to design systems accessible to a larger group of users, including persons with special needs like disabled and older people. This paper will examine how browsers following the UI4ALL principle are compliant with the “User Agent Accessibility Guidelines 1.0”.
