Abstract
Software designers need helpful systems with information about ergonomic design. Some surveys demonstrate how important is the task of providing and communicating software-ergonomic knowledge. The inra System shows a possible way of gradually doing this. inra System consists of a hypertext system for Windows with interactive examples and an accompanying reference book. In the focus of this text is an empirical study with software designers about the use of these interactive examples. We find out how software designers talked about this method and whether or not they could uncover the implicitly contained design information and therefore be able to use this for designing in future projects. The interactive examples are an effective form of knowledge transfer, they are interesting and motivating.
